JC Griffin founded Griffin Innovations LLC — operating as GriffinLabs — to provide practitioner-led FinOps help for mid-market and growth-stage companies: enough cloud spend that financial governance matters, but not so much bureaucracy that getting started takes a quarter.
FinOps is the focus today, but the work sits on a longer technical foundation. A full-stack developer and cloud architect by trade, with a career that spans early-stage startups through Fortune 100 enterprises — building products, platforms, and the systems that connect operational data to business meaning.
That background includes founding FinOps capabilities at two organizations, multi-cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and hands-on engineering — not strategy alone. This site describes what GriffinLabs helps companies do as a consultancy; it is not a client list.
